Can I join the army if I have type 2 diabetes ?

Doctor Redcrow MD asked:

I really want to join. I am 5/11 197 lbs. In good shape, except for that darn HIGH SUGAR in my blood. Any army recruiters out there can give me feed back or anyone that knows the army recruiting. Thanks.
